John Burris’ Speech

July 8

After listening to John Burris’ speech, it gave the impression he thinks the judicial system should be based on emotion and preconceived notions, rather than evidence.  (Paraphrased) “We have all seen the video, and we all know the truth.”  Obviously there is more evidence to sort through.

Don’t blame the system, blame the evidence.  Much like in science, it does not matter if the conclusion upsets you emotionally.  The evidence should be read void of emotion and preconceived notions.  No matter how much your heart tells you otherwise, evidence is the only way to sort through the murkiness of bias.

Also, a “reverend” Keith Mohammed  is speaking on ABC right now on the subject, but he just quoted the bible, more failures in critical thinking.

A tragedy does not necessitate racism.
